We are working hard at Ashford to ensure high expectations for all children in their learning. One way in which children can be supported with their learning at school is by ensuring they complete good quality home learning to reinforce understanding of their reading, writing and maths skills, as well as supporting the wider curriculum. The information and links below are designed to help you support your child in a range of Home Learning activities. Our Home Learning Policy can be found on the School Policies page. If you have any questions or need any additional support with supporting your child with home learning please do let us know, and speak to your child’s class teacher in the first instance.
Year Group Reading lists can be found on the Reading & Writing Curriculum page, and by clicking on the button below, these also include helpful questions to ask your child.
Information about how to support your child with Maths can be found on the Maths Curriculum page and by clicking on the button below.
Our Curriculum page includes Curriculum newsletters, Maths and English Overviews, Theme Overviews, for each year group, as well as lots more information about our curriculum. Subject specific policies can be found on the school polices page.
